Format: 9-hole scramble: players tee off from the teeing ground. The team selects the best-positioned ball to play their next shots. The ball is marked, and players are allowed to lift, clean, and place their ball within one club-length, no closer to the hole. A ball may be moved from rough to fairway using the one club-length rule, but under no circumstances should this free relief be used to move a ball from a penalty area or bunker, or onto a green. Players will continue this process until reaching the green, at which time the selected ball is marked, and putts are taken within one club-head of the mark, in either direction, no closer to the hole.

BOGEY is the maximum score a team can take on any hole.

Scoring: Each team (8 players) consists of two groups of 4. One group will play the front 9 and the other will play the back 9. The team with the lowest combined score (front/back)  will be the champions.

Teams: There are a total of 13 teams competing. Teams were broken down by branch first and then assigned a team color. Since we could not get a perfect number of people for each branch, there are two teams called “America & Freedom” that represent a team of mixed branches.

Tees:

Men—America Flag Markers (~5600-6000 yards)

Women—RED Tee markers (~5350 yards)

Awards/Prizes: There are (4) pin prizes on each side of the course for players to win! The winning team will receive individual PGA HOPE Nebraska Cup trophies and their team name on the HOPE Cup traveling trophy. There will also be a drawing at the end of the event for more prizes.

Ties: If there is a tie for 1st place, the tie will be broken 1st by the lowest 4-person score for the team. If still tied there will be a 4 person sudden death playoff using an alternate shot format. Teams will choose 4 people out of the 8 to represent their team in the playoff.

Mulligans: Each person will get (1) mulligan during the round.
